Organized for the medical fraternity of the Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala (IHK), this clinical CME program addressed one of the most critical challenges facing contemporary medical practice: guiding patients through dietary management and lifestyle modification while debunking prevalent nutrition myths.

Drawing inspiration from the philosophies of Hippocrates, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (Aphorisms 259–261 of the Organon of Medicine), and Sir William Osler, Dr. Nithanth structured the session across eight high-impact clinical modules. Topics included metabolic physiology, de-prescribing in lifestyle disorders, scientific evaluation of modern diet plans (Keto, Intermittent Fasting, Mediterranean, Balanced Diet), and identifying supplement toxicities.

A core highlight of the session focused on regional dietary practices in Northern Kerala (Malabar region)—providing practical alternatives for oily, maida-rich, and high-calorie diets without losing cultural essence. The session also underscored vital self-care practices for practicing physicians and night-duty doctors to maintain their own metabolic stamina and long-term health.
